“HE ENTERED OUR WORLD”

 

1.     God came to planet Earth

Ours is the “Visited Planet”

 

2.     God became fully human

 

 

John 1:14    “the Word (God the Son) became a human being and moved into our neighbourhood”

 

Phil 2:6-8    He had equal status with God yet he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave….. he became human

 

3.     He entered our circumstances

“What if God was one of us just a stranger on the bus trying to find his way home”

 

4.     He entered our world to reclaim it for His own

Mark 10:45    “The Son of Man (Jesus) came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many”

 

5.     He entered our world – that we might enter His

Phil 2:5    “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus”

Think of yourself the way Christ Jesus thought of himself

What Jesus did in becoming fully human and entering our world is offered to us as an example to be followed
